STRUT CARES collaborated with LagunaART Gallery to organize a fundraising event for Rady’s Children’s Hospital Canine Therapy Program. The event was a memorable evening of art, music, and philanthropy. It featured a live performance by Kenny Williams and the Stomp Down Riders and a silent and live auction. The auction included an original painting by Keith Haring and showcased an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures, and other works of art donated by LagunaART Gallery artists.
The Rady’s Children’s Hospital Canine Therapy Program is a unique program that provides therapy dogs to children with various medical conditions, including cancer, heart disease, and neurological disorders. These therapy dogs not only provided comfort and companionship to the children but also helped them in their recovery process by reducing stress and anxiety.
The night was filled with entertainment, good food, drinks, and, most importantly, an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children in need.
